Knock-on-Wood is a locally owned company operated by Karen Hunter. It first opened in 1978 as a unfinished furniture store on Speedway Blvd., Tucson.

In 2000 Knock-on Wood moved to a new site at Fort Lowell & Dodge. The new store feature a 13,000 sq. ft. showroom with an additional 7,000 sq. ft. warehouse.

No longer stocking unfinished furniture, Knock-on-Wood now features a wide range of new items from the leading American manufacturers. In addition to wood, many items are available in metal, leather & fabric.
